Our Junior Bs edged out Bantry Blues in a thrilling encounter, winning 3-17 to 2-19. Leading 2-8 to 1-7 at halftime, Adrigole managed to withstand a determined second-half surge from Bantry, holding on to their narrow lead.

Tom O'Connor was the standout performer, scoring a brilliant 2-7. His first goal, just before the break, was vital in giving a four-point advantage at halftime. The high-scoring quality of both teams was on full display throughout, with superb kicking from all areas of the field keeping the scoreboard ticking.

Stephen Coughlan led the charge for Bantry Blues, inspiring his side with a series of well-taken points and a goal that brought them back into contention. As Bantry closed the gap to just two points in the final minutes, the game hung in the balance. Bantry applied immense pressure, Adrigole's defense, supported by a couple of timely interventions from Mike Phil O'Sullivan, managed to hold firm.

In the end, Adrigole's superior accuracy and resilience secured them a narrow victory in a game that showcased the best of both sides' scoring abilities and provided a fitting tribute to our former teammate Jason.
